put an 83 or 84 250r shock on a 200x?

i guess the 200x shock is about 12.25 inches in length and the 83 250r is about 13.00 exactly. seems like it'd be a better shock and it'd sit it up a bit higher. but the 84 is like 14.00 almost. anybody think it'd work?

Interesting, If your measurements are correct 13" might work.

So, does that mean you dont want the mount?

i might still buy it. i'm just short on cash right now. and i've applied at 8 different places and no calls so far!!

as soon as i get a job and some extra cash i'll for sure buy it. but according to Works' shock guide (it has the lengths of almost every shock made) it's just a bit longer. and seems like it'd be a lot better of a shock

i put a r shock and linkage on a 250x but you need to use the linkage or it will be real soft

It will work with some very minor adjustments. I put a 200x or my 84r. The bottom mounting bolt diameter is different. But it will work
