need info on a shock for 200X

I am looking for a shock that will fit my 1985 200X that will hold me up and not sag. I have the stock shock that is in good shape,and had a recent recharge. I installed it and it didn't make a difference. I guess weighing 280 pounds doesn't help but oh well when yer fat yer fat! LOL!

I think I saw someone post about putting a 350X shock on a 200x but not for sure.

any help out there on how to beef this thing up in the rear let me know.

also seen a pic of a 200X with a 350X front end on it. sweet! what has to be done in order to adapt it over?

I could have bought a 350X a month ago for $350 running and everything from a friend hurting for money.by the time I got there he done sold it to the first guy that pulled up in the driveway.some friend!

anyway, if anyone can help I'd greatly appreciate it....I also thought about trading it or selling it to buy something bigger,but if I can solve the problem for cheap I'd go that way.

Just because you recharged it, doesn't mean it will work better. You might just have a blown shock = when you recharged it, it worked until you sat on it and all the nitro just blew out! You could probably find a goood shock on ebay or go to Works Shocks and buy one(pricey!) Or just search the boards for it. I am not sure if the guy still sells the kit for it..
