    '86 T3 problems update

    Jeb, I made "some" progress as far as narrowing down my problems, I think. check out this link and tell me what you think (so I ain't gotta retype it).

    Ok, so if you was to put the old carb setup back on, it would run fine? Thats what I would do. If it runs good with the original setup, that would eliminate the stator/electrical mystery and then you would know it was strictly the carb causing your problems.

    Hi Dan,

    I would follow Mik6's advice that he posted on your board. He makes some good points. (that way I don't have to re-type either... ;-) ) I think it could be stator going bad on ya, but you can't rule out the carb situation either.

    Let me know what ya find out...
