Yamaha 175 Tri Moto Trash Pile Find !! Pictures Included !

I frequently get calls from my YAMAHA dealer here in our community wanting to know if I want items that are left in their warehouse. Sunday afternoon I was sitting at home and I got a call. Our dealership sold out and the older gentleman (70) years young that owned the dealership called me and said.... Stephen... Hey I have a 16 foot car hauler loaded down with stuff that we have accumulated over the last year and you need to come down and make me an offer on the load of parts. So I get there and I see alot of stock exhausts and plastics and rims and tires, and alot of motorcycle parts, and a truck bed liner and a generator and few other items. I say Mr. Tom .....is that what ya wanted me to come and get..? He said yes, take a look and see if there is anything that you want or need. I figured what the heck, so I walk around and look at the stuff and sure enuff there were things there that I could use here and there. He said yea there is one more thing, I have this old Yamaha 3-wheeler out in the warehouse you can have it too. I said well lets go look at it... So we go out to the warehouse and unpile boxes and thing from the corner and there she sat. He said now I am the only one to ever own the thing, it looked new but I let a friend borrow it and it brokedown on him so he just parked it back here in the warehouse, I have no idea what is wrong with it but if you like just give me $40.00 for it and the trailer load of parts. So I say how long has it been sitting...He says since November 2004. So I lean over and pull the choke lever and turn the gas on.....I pull the rope 1 time and it fires right up...but gas is pouring all out the bottom of the carb and running over the frame.. I look at him like wtf. He says don't worry son it's still the same price. So I say you got a deal. So I bring the thing home and clean the carb and wellahh! she starts on the first pull and runs out strong. Wheelies in 1-3 gears. So I got myself a 1 owner YAMAHA 175 TRI MOTO dog bit seat and all. The best load of scrap I ever bought for $40.00
