    350X big bore, best carb?

I am doing a Powroll big bore kit on my '85 350X. I was going to go with the Lectron 40/38 but want an accelerator pump. I am being talked into a 39mm FCR. What is the best thing out there?

I would think one of those Edelbrock Quicksilver carbs would be the best you can buy ($400), but who knows if it would work with the stock intake boot, surley there's something you can do with the boot. I've also herd that the stock carb is very good on the 350X, and unless you go really really crazy you can't get much better. That's my $.02...

I would recommend just getting a used 400EX carb from a rider on www.exriders.com. They are on there all the time for $100 or so. They have a little different jetting, but you can change that easy enough. The stock information can be found on the site as well. You would also benefit from having the accelerator pump. I think they are a 38-40mm carb. Save your money and do it this way. My $0.02. Pretty soon you're going to be rich!
