my 250r reads built 12/85 is this the latest around?

Hi Triker,

Yours will be one of the last 1,000 or so made if it's from the 12/85 run. From memory Honda made just over 13,000 '86 ATC250Rs, all made during 1985, mostly in the 4 months, May to August. The December run was the last of the '86s. If you look at the last 5 digits, it will tell you which bike out of that 13,000 or so yours is.

I'd be curious as to how close yours comes to the end of production, if you'd be willing to post the last 5 digits.

hey jez thanks for that great tip.Ill take a look at the tag in the next couple of days.wow it would be really cool if it were one of the last 86 250rs built well wish me luck. ill post pics of build tag and bike soon.
