    [/b] :-D help---i cant get my 1987 250sx to shut off --took it all apart --looks o.k.==any suggestions would be apprieciated

    Both the ignition and the kill switch stop the motor by grounding the black with a white stripe wire that comes from the CDI. Sounds like you have a broken wire.
