    suzuki trike

    alright yesterday when i was at country fest if any of you guys ever heard of it, but i was talking to the this guy about trikes, and he told me he has a suzuki 250, and i think he told me it was a 78, but are any of you famliar with these trikes

    i thought Honda was the first trike builder, could b wrong tho

    Yes ,You can check an older thread ,but Honda was the leader in the ATV market back in that era! The only machines up till then were the ATC 70 and 90 models! In '79 the market changed with Honda and they went to ATC 110,not until '80 did they bump the motor size and go with the popular vertical setup motor ,in which the 185 came along! In the years to pass Yamaha,Suzuki ,Kawasaki and eventually Polaris joined in the ranks of trikes.But I believe Honda always dominated the ATV market!! I may need to be corrected but I think the first Suzuki trike was the little 50 or 125 models which came out in '83.Not exactly sure but I think so!! Go on the main page of the site and check,I know there are some really cool article's and what not ,that could be found!! Hope that helped!!!

    people have talked about suzuki making a 250cc trike to race but I dont think they made it that far back

    I got a 83 suzuki alt 125 three wheeler, build date it 11 of 82, to my nowledge the motor has never been opened up, it runs great! and has reverse, also the tank is on the side of the frame and under the seat and has a little vacum operated fuel pump to pump gas up to the carb, and you bet its hard to find parts for this little beast! if any body has parts of know of some please let me know, believ me ive been all over the net and ebay, thanks

    Most OEM parts are still available for it. Ive been buying mine through bikebandit.

    yea i found a bunch through my local dealer, but i need (like so many others) the rear plastic and front fender, there both still there but in less then steller shape, iI got it off of ebay a while back for cheap, and im glad i got it to its a blast, do you still got your 125? TIMSR?

    Yes, I still have mine. I dont think the plastics are available any more, but I havent really looked for them. Id start with making a post in the classifieds forum right here at 3WW.

    i like the pic, whats whith the decal though? suuk? is that custom? lol. or are you stating it sucks? i personaly think its cute, i like it. bet it kills the kidneys though.
