    one thing i did find out today I will need a custome spark plug wrench made for the bike.. I can get the plug in and out easy but can not get a socket on it or a wrench to tighten or loosen it due to the clearance of the frame.If known ahead of time i could have ground down the fins on the head to accept a open end wrench. dyno port to the rescue they said no problem for a charge of corse! today got the air filter setup done.Whith a little pluming skills got the banshee shifter bent up and on, fuel lines,inline filter,and petcock mounted,and the boost bottle mounted,throttle cable but i need to get a part for the cap to accept a 250r cable...YES more honda parts! and made some small alum. brackets for the rear Tail light..tail light you ask...because its a rule for atvspecialevents drags.. a gay one at that but oh well.
    Hey Ron you know that nice swinger bolt i won at trike fest... well i messed it all up,a thred must have got messed up pushing it through and when i put the nut on and hit it with the air wrench it spun the threds off the nut and the end of the bolt,so i ground down the first 1/4 inch of the threds and fixed the threds with a file and got a stock nut on without a washer..So I'll take another one at trike fest 07!!!

    What kind of air filter is that? In alot of old tool kits from yamaha they had special spark plug wrenches for the aircooled 2 strokes.

    its called a ram air they have differnt colors and transparent colors too so you can see the filter..got it on e bay cheep

    i clicked on the e-bay link thingy and it looks to me that that THING is gonna be too small ??? maybe ??? seems like that 490 needs BIG AIR ?? AND............
    BE NICE TO STAINLESS STUFF !!!!!! no impact and LOTS of Antisieze stuff !!!
    maybe on the intake you can use this ???

    well Thats some thing (WE) can work on this winter... Just got off the phone with the guy thats building my pipe at dyno port and we talked brefley about putting a screen in the removable silencer, just i take a trip to the dunes... will be delivering it to them at 2:30 tomorrow
    To hash out desgin and shape, mounting, Ill try to get some pictures of there shop and some of there stuff!!!!

    take a pair of channel locks and bend the fins back and forth til they snap off, you'll get to the plug alot easier this way, that what dynoport is going to do!
