    Finished the 85 kxt250 project

Well just thought I would show a pic or two of my finished Tecate. took almost 3 weeks to finish everything. I have to say, I love it. To me it rides better and has more power then my 250r. Well now Im looking for a 86-87 tecate to restore. Love the green.

I love it, Blue I am guessing they were hit with Kawi Green...I love seeing the freshness of the green since most 84's and 85's are so faded out

    NICE JOB!!

Yeah the fenders that came on it were faded and half black with paint. I'm sure thats why the paint on the tank/plastics and on the motor match.

    Tecate

Nice Tecate but it looks like you have an 85 front end(disc brake) and a 84 tank(I beleive the 85 had ONLY Kawasaki on the tank?)!!!!!!! Love to see more Tecate lookin good like that!!!!!!!! Thanks
It ain't about the money, or even being #1, you gotta know when it's all over you did the best you could of done! And knowing that it's in you and you never let it out, is worse then blowin' any engine or any wreck you'll ever have!

Extended swingarms on these things should be mandatory. Some 20's and wheel spacers and these things handle great! Really is fun fooling around with the stock swinger on, too much motor for the length of the trike.

Look nice dude, awsome job. Probably should put a longer swinger on it, the front end wont stay down well without it.
