    250r need help

    got a 1985 250r just bought. Unfortunatly i dont have a operating manual for it and cant seem to find one. I dont know much of the radiator. Can you guys tell me what to put in the radiator? Dont know if it is water. anti-freeze or what. thanks

    Do you guys ever run engine ice? I only do in my cr500 because well hot weather over here and I ride for long periods. Does it matter with the 250r's?

    i live in arizona lol its hot as well i also ride for long periods of time too. but wat is engine ice?

    It is used in the coolant. Supposed to lower your temp a little.
    Make sure if you get coolant from a parts store or something that is safe for aluminum. Almost all of it is nowdays, but just be sure of it before you use it.
    I have a Honda shop manual for 85-86 R. If you have any Q's, I can give you the info right from the manual. I think you can still get the manual. Probably in the 30 dollar range, and nice to have.

    Ya for my 500 I have to watch out because my water pump is magnesium so certain liquids will corode it.
