Question Which trike to buy next? anyone?

I currently have an '85 atc 110, and two 70s. I'm looking to sell up and buy something more powerful. I like the fact i dont have to mix fuel and oil currently, and would like to continue this. I like the way i can switch to low range, useful to me as we have some steep land. I like the automatic clutch i have. I have the chance to buy a 200x ATC, in good condition, and would rather stay with honda. but tri z are more easily available. Other than this theres not much else around, other than the odd 250r. What do you suggest i move up to considering my requirments?

Or how about a 250sx or Bigred? I went from a 125m to a 250es Bigred and then to a 350x. Some people just jump around. To me it sounds like you like the low range and you like the torque of the four stroke. I Liked the bigred but they are heavy. The 250sx are great bikes but i really fell in love with that 350x!!!

I have 2 350xs, 250R and a TriZ. The 350x is the all around better bike for steep inclines and trail riding. If you do not want to pre mix, you trail ride and your like the low end torque, the 350 x can't be beaten. If you want a similar feel but not as powerful, and you like the electric start and reverse options go with the 250sx. Both are great choices. good luck!

He's from the UK so a 350x is out.

Big red might be nice. Tri-z is a killer machine but doesn't sound like what you're aiming for. For the money a 200x goes for in the UK it's a hard choice. Great machines but it you like the sport of it then the Z is the better route. Although the 200x is light and fun.

go for the 200x i love mine
the shifting isnt that big a deal just dont get a heavy duty clutch and you wont get arthritus
in my lower gears i have more than enough torque to get up almost anything
parts are pretty easy to come by too

The honda 250es big red is one of my favorties on the list, great power, nice speed, and great for play and work. Or the early model big red 200es with the high and low lever, but the 250es has the low as the first grear.

All depends on what you want to with it. do you want to go fast or putt around? if yer lookin to ride hard and have racier suspension and what not get the 200x since you have the opportunity...its a nice step up from what you have without goin over yer head...if you want something more work oriented, or at least slower paced get a 250sx or bigred. with any of those bike there is enough torque and theyre geared to not need a low range. and sticking with honda is always a good idea with trikes.

I have realised i cant really justify the cost of a 200x, so it will have to be something else. Which of the dumpier hondas has full suspension? I'm tempted to buy a big red, how does the power and speed compare to a 110? Although i use it working with sheep, i like to bomb round at high speed occasionally.
