    fyi, leaky petcock valve

My 85 ATC250R petcock has been leaking for awhile.

I just need to replace the inside gasket.
Can I buy one? Nope, can't do that son. Yous gotsta buy a whole new thingamajig. WTH!

Honda only sells the whole petcock valve assm as a unit, approx. $85.

Hmmmm, whats a trike rider to do? Go home and watch some basketball. Not.

Looking at the fuel petcock picture for the 86 TRX250R, they sell the gasket seperately. WTFudge?
The dealer fiche picture wasn't clear enough to determine if it was the same thing. So, I went ahead and bought one. PN:16955-HA2-005 for $9.

Fits perfect. Its the inside gasket (about the size of a nickel)with the four holes that act as a valve with the selector.

Service Honda had them for $5.

    Hope this helps someone.
