Bought a new Quad!!!

Yeah, I couldnt stand it anymore, I bought me a golfcart. I made a few threads a while back about different machines and wound up with one that wasnt even on the list. I had decided on a Suzuki Z400 but this 2004 Arctic Cat DVX 400 came up for sale and I couldnt pass it up. I know other than plastics its the same machine (as the Z400). Guy I bought it from swears it has less than 10 hours on it and I believe him. The thing is absolutly brand new still. I gave 3000 for it, sound like a good deal?

With every great buy comes a great sacrifice though, I am now overlooking all my trikes trying to decide which one much leave my side. I hate to trade off a trike for a quad but I dont really need 2 250R's so I think I am going to let one part ways with me. Anyway, what do you think about this Cat

Looks fast but anything artic cat makes that doesn't involve snow usually doesn't go fast. Whats your opinion over all??

The only thing on this machine made by Arctic Cat is the plastic. Everything else is straight up Suzuki Z400. The machine runs great. Its not the fastest machine on the block but I ride with 400EX's and there not quite as fast as this machine is. I didnt buy it for speed exactlybut rather as a fast paced cruiser and I think it will do nicley. I just got done pulling the Beadlocks off the back and putting the stock tires back on. I figured I would run it like that untill the stockers wear out then get a matching set of locks and holeshots for the front

You woundnt be broke, thats part of how I make my living, Giving 2700 for that Vinson and turning it a month later for 3600. take 3, buy the Cat, put 600 to pocket. Cat needed nothing but Plexus to look her best so its a 3600 machine as well if I wanted to get rid of it. If you know how to play the market, you can make some at it. My problem is I want to keep everything

I can tell you how to work it sometime on the phone and maybe you can make a little side money.

No.....I know how it works, trust me. I just flipped my camper for a few hundred bucks, used it twice, and have had it for 8 months. Made over 300 bucks on it.

You said it, though. when it comes to ATVs, I would want to KEEP everything!!

Good deal. I wish someone locally would want my Z400.

I also would love to keep it but I have the X the banshee and the sled I hardly ride.

Easy ride, plush very well layed out and had some power under the hood too. You will love it! Congrats

After having it out this weekend I dont think that I could have made a better choice in a quad for what I am doing with it. Its a great machine

lomax is right kawasaki did the same thing with their 400cc sport quad it is a z400 with diffrent plastic
