    the reason "Honda" Say's to do that is because the "R" work's REAL GOOD with there Stator and Brain Box Eletrical System.... i run the "R" Plug in ALL of the Rag's i build ....GREAT Plug's ....Can't Beat Em !!

    the difference between "R" plugs and non"R" plugs is the resistor in the ceramic between the electrode and the plug boot connection to the plug. if you dont run a "R" you are screwing up the whole brain and everything. it will ru on them, but nowhere near the performance.
    1985 Honda ATC250R drag trike with s/t kit and full drag CR hybrid motor and drag chassis...
    1986 Honda ATC250R daily rider fully modded engine, +4 swinger,etc...
    1997 Polaris Storm 800 triple, boyesen reeds, dg individual silencers, 240 studs, 123mph on radar...

    i am runnung a BR9ES now and it sputters at the top RPM's, so should I go to the BR8ES? Thats what was in it but it fouled out. What is the stock jetting for a 85 R also, may need to make a smaller jet.
