    triple tree ??

    What's the easiest way to take off the top triple tree on my trike...I loosened the top clamp bolts on the top tree and the nut under the bars...It's not budging

    If you took off the nut and washer off under the bars take out the bolts as well and if it still doesnt come off pound it with a rubber mallet upwards. Hope this helps you some.

    Oh ok thank you I was just making sure theres nothing else holding it on like through to the bottom one or something.

    Take the top clamp completely off and you'll see another nut and washer holding it on there.

    Or, with the bike standing on end, you could loosen up the pinch bolts on the bottom triple clamp & slide both fork legs down until they're clear of the top triple clamp. Put the nut back on the stearing stem before you slide the forks down though, otherwise you'll find that the top triple clamp will practically fall off once the forks are clear.
