    250es?

im lookin at buyin a 1985 honda atc 250es bigred the guy wants like 80 dollars for it it needs a one way thing for the kickstarter i guess because it wont kick. the carb is shot needs completly redone and the fenders are spraybombed but it does run and drive with no leaks noises and it doesnt burn oil. the seat pan is all that there for a seat but the racks are pretty nice so it this a good deal?

$80 bucks sounds like a pretty good deal to me.. no matter what trike it is or what condition it is in. I'd go for it, especially since it runs and drives.

Thats a killer deal for any running trike. I bought one of my bed reds from the field really cheap and put alittle money in it and it was running like a champ. So snag it up and enjoy them cuz you cant be a big red............peace

Well the drive shaft units are a dime a dozen when they are on ebay as no one bids on them. Now the rear diff is a different story. If you watch long enough you could snag one for 50$ but they go all the way up to 150$. If the splines are fine on the rear diff, then just get you a bearing diff kit for around 50$ (from DADS on the board) and rebuild it nice. Believe me, if the engine is running its well worth around 2-300$. You can find good deals on tires and the levers and brake cables are around 15$ each aftermarket ones. You can still get OEM plastics for it if you want to spend the cash, if not Maier makes everything you need but the side panels.............peace
