why is it that the 81-84 aircooled 250r's are always reffered to as air foolers???
i get why the 85-86 is called a water pumper but why the "fooler" for the old air cooled trikes? just one of those things that make me go hmmmmmmmmm???????

And the 350X isn't called anbecause its just a 350X.. there aren't 2 kinds of them. But when you say 250R.. your R could be either a fooler or a water pumper..

so the fooler part comes from aircoolers with the 300 kit, since you would be fooled by its apperance and surprised when it left you in the dust thinking it was a regular 250r????

Its just a term for the 81-84 250Rs that originated here many years ago. I think it was either 86waterpumper (willie) or 2strokepower (Jay) that started it.

i certainly dont feel like a fool for buying my air R. the real fools are the guys on the quads while i have money for upgrades and more trikes. they have a monthly bill.

my roommate just got a new raptor and it sure isnt $6,000 faster than my R. Maybe fifty bucks faster, and a another $100 for the elec start....but that doent make it any faster either.
