Gotta New 3-wheeler

I was outside riding my 200x when the paperboy came by to deliver the paper. He stopped by for a second and told me that he knew where a complete 85 200x was that had a blown motor and the guy only wanted 100$ for it. I told him that if everything was there then I might be interested in it. Later that evening I went to check out this supposed 200x and to my surprise it was in very decent condition and well worth the 100$. I bought it on the spot and brought it home. It was in fact an 85 200x with nice "slightly used" maier fenders front and back, working back brakes, new twist throttle, nice seat, new cables, nice headlight and headlight guard, slightly used new tires, and it came with like 3-4 200x heads, and 2 original 200x gas tanks. Alot of the parts i can use to make my 83 200x a very nice machine. Oh, and a couple days before my friend gave me a running 83 185 motor, smokes alot though, so I slapped it in there and had a running 185/200x and he also gave me a 200x frame, swinger, axle, tank and various other 200x parts. So in other words I got another running 3-wheeler and a lot of parts for 100$

I f I can find a way to get some pictures, i'll post them as soon as possible. I suppose i would be able to part with a few things. I will most likely be selling these 2 3-wheelers when i do a few things to them, so i will have the money for a 350x.

That's great! I never run across deals like that.

However, I was talking to one of the coaches and his wife for my daughter's ball team and had my 350XRiders shirt on (and a seeping rear knee wound) and his wife asked what happened to my leg. I told her about trikefest and the MX races and stuff and her husband asked if I had a 350X. We got talking a bit more and he says his brother has an 85 200X that doesn't run and only needs a stator he thinks. I have asked him a few times if his bro wants to sell it and he keeps saying he'll fix it "some day". argh.

I may get one of those deals someday.

I know how you feel, I've made myself broke with all my (8 or 12) motorized aquisitions over the last year or 3, but hang in, you'll stumble over an incredible grab one of these days.

Lol, yea the guy that sold it to me probably knows more about 3-wheelers than me. Its just that he was fixin it up and then he let his brother ride it, but while his brother was riding it, he totally screwed up the top end. so he got really pissed, kicked his brothers *Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited*, along with his brothers friends that rode it, and told me that he was so mad he didn't care the he was getting screwed on the deal. I really didn't complain, and told him that i would be glad to take it off his hands...lol
