Im lookin into a new Pual Turner Hi Rev pipe....But a 23% power increase seems a little exagerated. Is it really worth the $350 MSRP (chrome of course)? I have an FMF silencer now with a stock pipe, Boysen reeds but not sure what kind, and a K&N filter. will this set up work with the PT to be worth the $350 or should I upgrade silencer/reeds/filter etc. before I get the pipe? Tryin to mod my 350 was way more involved than this. Im lovin the 2 stroke

Personally I have ridden with DG, FMF, and others and Paul Turner, hands down gave the best performance. It really seems to wake up the engine and give it the necessary power you need. I am sure you can get them much cheaper from other sites, but it just depends on if you want the bling bling chrome or not.

Yeap! that PT high rev pipe is sweat but say bye-bye to your bottom end power. The top end with this pipe will be insane compaired to stock. Depending on what you ride from day to day. I'd say if your into dunes, oval, or TT this is a great pipe. If you ride the woods and trails stay away from the high rev.

You should be fine with this pipe.. no need to upgrade anything until you feel like it. A K&N is a top of the line filter (so the most upgrading you can do is getting a new one), and Boyesens aren't bad.

I TOTALLY disagree with this. I saw no lose in low end from this pipe to the type 6. Just more power yet everywhere else.

i hill climb and ride trails with mine and i like it alot. If i'd stop being lazy and get my jetting perfect it would probably be alot better. Not so much he location as it is the riding style that determines whether its a good pipe for you. If you don't mind keeping it wound up and working the clutch to death then its good all over.

pt high revs are the shiznitle!!!i love em.you will see no lose in bottom end with a stock motor.if you have a top end port,you will notice a loss in low end,but it hits so hard in the middle,it really don't matter.i gurantee you will not be dissapointed in either a type 6,or high rev.i have ran both,are they are hands down the best pipe out there.now go buy one!!!!

You got shill bidded against on that auction. I was watching it and was willing to bid up slightly higher than what you got it for but when it hit 280.00 on the second day from a zero feedback bidder, I said to hell with it. I think at one point it got bidded up to like $302 or something then, of course, both the high bidders retracted their bids after they maxed you out.
You got a decent deal on it in the end so don't feel bad. It just pisses me off when sellers do that. The seller would have gotten more money for it in the end had the shill bids not turned me off from the auction. Just goes to show, cheap tactics don't always pay off in the end.
Sorry for the rant.

hell he went on about ESR pipes so i didnt know why he was bidding, but i guess he just seen a good deal.
