bigred axle

i need to know where to find a new/used bigred axle. also would an sx or anyother axle fit?

An SX axle will not fit. It is model and year specific. 86-87 BigRed axle may be the same. But 85 is shorter. SX is shorter. I would watch for someone parting one out on ebay. Sorry I cant be more help. I had to replace one once, this is how I know.

whats wrong it the axel i guess is mess up im not entirely sure tho but the differential is good i found out

dang it yea i just realized that sorry...so i guess i have to figure sumthing out i dont have 300 bux to spend on a new axle

ok i dissasembled the rearend today. if i leave the diff unbolted and turn the axle it works it spins the shaft. but... if i bolt it up it immediatly stops workin does it sound like my axle or the diff?
