Has any one looked into lowering the sub frame on an YFZ?

a buddy of mine has a +1 or +2 Houser steering stem on his , he is alot happier with the feel now. he also had to buy longer cables and brake lines too.

with my plus 2 back 1 stem the cables still work....you will be fine with a yfz

hey lonesome,my buddy has a stock one that he had cut and lenghtened 1 inch. he will sell it.he also has a atv 4 play chrome one that is plus 1 inch. he will sell you either one. he wants 140 shipped for the chrome one or 85 shipped for the stock modified steering stem.

HMMMMMM, i just saw this thread,, i just added a 1inch spacer to mine to see how i liked it,,,, i like it!!! i think 1 1/2 would be better,,, but with an extra inch of height it feels better ,,,,, i think you will like it too,,,,,,,,,,,,

Thanks Kasey. I really like that machine. I just do not like the way the rider sits on it.
