8-26 New Hampshire RR beds ride

August 26th is the set date, plenty of advance this time!

The trails are old RR beds that strech almost 20 miles one way from Windham to Derry. Me, brrcuda and rode together last time. The trails are great because it gives you the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere, but you are never more than a couple miles from your car or a convient store!!! There is a small sandpit off to the side we can ride on as well. Excellent for high-speed cruising!!!

Machines: I hate to do this, but I feel it's a must. Since you are moving so fast when you ride (5th or even 6th on my R!) we really have to respectfully request that only certain machines attend this ride. 250cc 2-strokes (R, Z, tecate) or 350X's really....... PERHAPS a modded 86/7 200X, even on a modified 6-speed 200X you will proubly have the throttle pinned and be stuggling to keep up. If you don't have or can't borrow one of these machines, you would just not have much fun being WAAAAAAAY behind the pack anyway..... Agian I apologize for this action, but trust me it's really a must.......

The exact time still has to be ed into place, and I'll tell evrybody where to meet. If you have any specific questions you can PM me or just post them for everybody to see.

    Lets get a head count!!!

well I'll be there. I plan on bringing my yellow tri-z to exercise its legs.

this ride is fast and fun. a lot of whoops and straight line acceleration. You also get all the looks from the other riders that have never seen a trike. I had a blast last time we went.

    Hopefully more can attend.

its nice and flat...little kids ride it without problems.

will you be driving 95 to 495 to get to derry NH?

I plan on going and i am right off of 95. I have a truck and trailer so if you want you can park at my house so you dont have as long of a ride. Its about an hour and a half from my house...approx 100 miles. You can join up with me and we can ride in together and theres not much parking up there so it may be a plus.

^^^ Mike is right on that, if you can, I'd recomend tagging along.......

As for the riding it's all a straight line, some whoops in places, but that depends on how long since it's been groomed. It's not really difficult, just REALLY high speed. So try and get some practice with that if you know a place. If the trails are good, you will defiantly be able to top out a 5-speed tri-Z!!! Last time I went out I was pegged on my modded 85R, so that must say something! hahahaha

    The more the merrier!!!!

the 26th (saturday) should be good for me - I'll be bringing my 85 tri-z which is pretty much ready to go. Just need to install my new swingarm guard and its good to go. It also holds water better than the black one so it will be a better ride for me.

I might bring my nephew with me on my other tri-z. He is only 15 but he's bigger than me and rides pretty well. He has been dying to go riding with me and keeps asking. I don't know how i will get two bikes in my truck though. The black bike needs the brakes bled and just some general tightening.

devin - 310 kit huh. your bike is already fast. It'll be a beast when your done.

    yeah i got confused.

yeah i can fit them all no problem. You have to leave the bikes that you do not use unattended at the truck. You should be OK if you chain them up. I will only be bringing one bike.

Devin (250r'en +TCB) cannot make it because he is a pussy and broke his arm.

But cuda and i are in. Its fun. we do the 20 mile trail 2 complete times, like 80 or so miles. Its a nice ride...realllly get to stretch the legs of the bikes.

Hey now lets see you go into the woods doing 40mph and we can judge the "pussyness" you portait

At this point I'm still thinking I won't be coming, but I'm gonna see how much having just a wrist cast would affect me first.......... I still have to get the axle straightened to....
