    Does 200x forks fit a big red

    Will 200x forks fit a 200cc shaft driven big red?

    i believe you have to swap out the whole front end for it to work. do a search for it on the forums, I know for sure someone has done it but I cant tell ya who did it.

    I did it, but on a 1985 model - if your big red is a 1984 model, the frame neck is too long - I can't seem to find anything that will retrofit to the 200 big reds. You could either modify the triple stem to be longer or modify the frame neck to be shorter - both will take some patience, but nothing a welder, a torch, a grinder and some files won't handle.

    Also - you will have the steering stops to deal with - also a small job for the handyman with a welder. You'll need the whole front end though - not just the forks.
