Just bought an 86 tecate 3-wheeler 2 stroke and im not sure what the fuel mixture should be. I have heard 40:1, but wanted to make sure. Any board members know for sure? Thanks.

Many people argue over this, but it all depends on what kind of oil you use. Back in the 80's they told you to run them at 20:1, today with the new synthetic oils some guys are running there's at 50:1!!!!! I personally run my R at 32:1, I will proubly back off to 40:1 when I get some top of the line synthetic oil though........
Do a search on the forums (top right hand corner) for oil mixtures...

just run 32:1 and be done with it.thats one quart to eight gallons, or half a quart to four gallons. use a good oil like klotz or maxima.
