    Carb question

Sorry this is on a Z 50 honda, but I think the carbs gotta be the same as say a 70. I pulled it apart, this thing was bought as a basket case, carb was filthy. I don't have a kit for it but when I pulled it apart I noticed the fuel inlet was 90% plugged. I ran a small drill bit back and forth through it by hand and flushed it with carb cleaner. finally cleared that up.
main thing I noticed it there is two brass tubes hanging down from the top part of the carb into the bowl.
the large one you can stick a needle throught it, and blow air through it. the smaller of the two is completly blocked. Is it suppose to be blocked? or is it just clogged up? Ive run a pin vise through the larger one on a atc before, before I do this I just want to make sure Im not going to mess something up. thanks Jim

Small one is your Idle Jet. Run a small Wire through it. A Wire from a wire brush works great for this.
