    My New ATC110 Blue Up!!!!!

Ha!!!! nope, no spelling errors here. I picked up this great shaped 83 this weekend. Sweet!! So exactly how rare are these blue 110s? Some of the threads on this board say they are fairly common, but this is the first one I have ever seen, but I have seen countless red ones. One of the threads say that the blue to red ratio was like 1:2, but I find that hard to believe. I know it is not the Christmas giveaway like the 70's either. So how many of you out there have a blue 110? I have only found 3 or 4 people have them. I think 250SXWheeliepop has one. Who else? Here are some pics! One has my 83 185S in the pic also - it's a fairly new one to my collection as well.

One of the older threads say they were made in 83 and 84????? I don't know just looking for more info on em. I guess if they were only made in 83, that would make them more rare!

i was watching that one it said it ended with no bids. i have a blue 83 that the frame was broke on the back due to a hondaline rack on the back. a farmer had it must have happened due to hauling junk around.

i put all the blue parts on a 85atc110 chassis. they steer better with the longer wheelbase since the chain adjustment is like a blaster kindoff.

i was going to use mine for parts for this one since mine has new tires and runs good.

just incase you were wondering that front wheel and tire is off the back of a suzuki lt125. thats the stock rear tire from one of those quads.

Nice find for sure. I always like the Blue 110's. I have a nice hondaline front rack on ebay right now that would look great on it! hehe
I might also sell the rear rack and headlight guard off my 110.

    Blue 110's

I have a Blue 83 110 and it is in excellent condition. I bought it with my 83 185s from a friend, a package deal that I could not pass up (both in my Avatar) Both bikes garage kept and well maintained. He got it from the original owner, an elderly man. The only other one I ever saw was one our neibor had when I was a kid. I believe they were only made in 1983 for the US. So they are definately a rare piece of Honda history to have. No messing around when I ride mine, very careful.

ya the ratio is like 100 to 1. The blue 110's where only made in 83 for the christmas special. Each dealer ship that sold hondas got one.

only the ATC70s were christmas specials - from what I have found. So it's looking like this is a pretty rare piece for my collection from what you have all told me. So far, looks like myself and about 5 other board members have them - keep the replies coming as I would like to know how many are out there. There is one at my local ATC salvage yard that I am going to get the headlight bucket and front forks off of - the rest of it is pretty sad - no rear or front plastics. Maybe I should put up a poll in this post to see how many have one. Looks like I can't make it a poll now - can a Mod please help me with this?
