looks like a suzuki lt185 to me, you sure its a yamaha? could be wrong, but judging by the two tone blue stripe, and yelloew fenders, looks alot like a suzuki. early 80's
1985 KXT 250 Tecate - kx cylinder, kx ignition, bassani headpipe, answer silencer, v-force reeds, 38mm airstyker carb, +2 franks swinger, raptor rear shock.

    1996 YSF240 Blaster - maxxed out!!!

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "HOLY SH-T, what a ride!"

Is definately a Suzuki. Could be 185 or 125 as they are pretty much the same. Youd have to check the cm3 number stamped somewhere on the motor.

If I was you, I'd jump over the fence, and very slowly and carefully check it out, starting at the right rear, very slowly working your way forward, never looking at the neck or side plates of the motor. You may or may not want to rub steak or hamburger all over your body before you jump the fence though..... or you could just talk to the owner, I'm not sure which would be easier.

Dog looks friendly, just shoot video if you jump the fence. I'd like to see how long it takes to get back over. SPIKE says

Sykolincoln - that looks like a Yammi front fender. The original ALT125 and ALT185s had a 2 piece front fender with louvers on the front half under the headlight - no louver in the back.

Here is my 1986 ALT125 - tyhe earlier ones are yellow like yours. Pretty neat little machines - the reverse gear is so fast in them! And the odometer is really cool. Mine has 4,440 miles on it. LOL
