hey, my 86 X has a K&N and some aftermarket exhaust on it (no idea the brand) but i do know its not restricting any flow of the exhaust. how would i know if it had been rejetted or if it needed rejetting? thanks![]()

what does the plug look like?
white - is too lean
black --is rich
its better to be too rich than too lean
plus it will be faster

its better to be a tan because then it will be faster and you will have the proper jet in it. Richer doesnt mean faster, just means it cant burn all the fuel your dumping in and will actually hinder performance.
so tan is the color im looking for? thanks for the help...its a little late now, but ill check it out after work tomorrow and see what it looks like.
