    removing the flywheel...

am removing the rotor from a 200e have the flywheel remover. Need to change the cam chain.
it is just a long screw basically. Do i just screw it in and the flywheel backs off?
I had it pretty tight and it doesnt budge. I tapped with a and even put the pin through the end of the rod and stuck a long heave screwdriver through to hold then was hitting the end of the wrench with a and it started to move VERY slow but i wasnt sure if i was stripping the threads so i backed off.
    Seem right?
