    shrouds and clarke tank.... wtf

    ok..i give up i cant get the shrouds on the tank correctly...they are to close and hit when turning the wheel...i tried to make a spacer which keeps it from hitting while turning but they look stupid..arent even near the tank..not sitting flush or even close...i give up...help

    Try heating their back sides with a hair dryer set on high and then flaring them out more. Only use a heat gun if you are really good with it, otherwise it will burn your shrouds.

    my buddy had maier 350x super scoops cut and modded to fit his 350x with clark tank.

    This is interesting to know because I was planning on getting a Clarke tank for my 350x. Guess I'll be taking a harder look at IMS now.

    there is no way to line them up...they shrouds need to be on an angle and the threads for the screws on the tank come straight out....so even witha spacer to bring them out to line up in depth they are like a half inch space between the shrouds and the tank.....
