    86 atc350x and 86 tri-z info help please!

    Hi Guys
I have a few questions about pipes/ silencers for a 86 atc350x and tri-z? Which pipes or silencer work the best for a 350x? What pipes give you the most power/reliablity and louder sound? Also, where can I find an new cdi for my 86 tri-z because mine is dead. I have tried ebay for the last month but nothing has come up, are there any places that rebuild if you can the cdi's? Also, how much harder would it be to start a 350x with 10.5 to 1 compression piston vs a stock one? One more thing can you still get stock OEM rear and front fenders for a 86 atc250r and 86 tri-z and if so where and who has the best price? Thanks for any info in advance!

    Hi Bryan
I would really appreciate if you could locate or pick one up for me but it has to be an 86 model year cdi because the 85 doesn't work with the 86 tri-z for some reason. Let me know when your going up and I can send you some cash for it or you can just pick it up and then I can send you some $$$ for it. You can email me or just pm me when if you find one.
    Thanks alot!

I kind of has this discussion the other day concerning exhaust systems for a 350X. I've had a Cobra megaphone, which will give a good boost in power, and a lot more in noise. The bike ran good with it but i was always trying to idle around houses because of the noise. Right now I have a supertrapp. My questions the other day were directed toward maybe getting more flow and re-jetting. Luckily there are some very knowledgeable people on here to steer me straight. A supertrapp will definitely be somewhat quieter. It probably depends on what's done to your engine as to how many discs you'd have to use to tune a supertrapp.
As far as the high compression piston goes, i figure all 350x riders have a much stronger right leg than left, so a little more compression shouldn't matter eh?
