Hey Guys...found some older pics of my rides

    Hey everyone...

I have been busy with my KTM 550 dirt bike (see pic below). I still love my wheelers, though.

Once the weather gets better, I am to take my stock Tri Z and stock 250r out and do a comparison test of both trikes.

Anyway here are some pics. Here is pic of my KTM 550 two stroke. These are the fastest dirt bike ever made...probably slightly more powerful than the '85 cr 500, but will easly pass up the later model CR's and KX's.

    here is another!

I would like to take some videos of both trikes in action...now that would be cool!

Maybe get some old 80's riding gear and break out my old Simpson helmet!

The KTM 490 was the fastest dirt bike ever made. Nice 550's!
    3 CR500R's and counting. Do I really need 4???
Do I really need 9 Tigers?

Yes, the '81 KTM 495 is believed to be the fastest dirt bike due to the '81 speed test Dirt Bike Magazine did.

Stock HP on the 495 was around 54. The KTM 550 is stock at 63 and with an FMF pipe and head work is around 66 or so.

Yes, I seriously belive the 495 was a monster!! Its a short stroke engine...so revs come really quick!!

My buddy had a KTM 495, and I have a KTM 550. I have ridden both and had them running side by side. The KTM 495 has more accelleration with stock gearing!!! My buddy outweighs me by over a hundred pounds and still pulled me through fifth gear, even though I had a better launch each time we dragged. We ran the bikes at the Oregon coast in the sand, up a giant dune.
