Im taking my boyesen rad valve off and putting on some on that bad azz ESR reed cage. ESR wants 60 bucks for the boot. Seems a little pricey. What year CR250 intake fits the 250r the best and accepts the 38mm carb?

Of the CR250 intake boots that have the same bolt pattern & will fit, they are all angled too much, which causes the carburetor to stick out on the side of the bike. You will then have major issues trying to get the carb lined up with the airbox-to-carb boot.

I used the factory carb boot for my 39mm. I just heated it up with a hair dryer first and slid the carb in. No problems yet, been in there a year.
2007 YAMAHA YTZ450 went to a great home RIP Sam
I use them on my bikes 86-98 cr rad valve and a 1/2 spacer. it does angle the carb some more, I've never had a problem.
