    Newbie 200x questions

    Hi Guys

Newbie on here looking to get my first trike. I have always wanted on from being a kid in the early eighties.

Anyway I have seen a 200x that takes my fancy, but wondered if it was possible to fit a towbar to this trike as it would be dead handy for launching my standup jetski (this makes it easier to justify to the wife )

    Cheers
    ML

    Hey ML
welcome to the forum good to see another member from the UK...
to the question Yes you can fit a tow bar to a 200X but it doesn't have reverse so backing up your jetski into water could be a problem......

    thanks

Thanks for the quick response guys

Not bothered about the reverse - I'll just drive it into the sea........ Only kidding . The ski is a standup so is easy to pull around by hand.

I currently have an XR200R - is the 200x the same motor or a lower spec version.

Probably an 83 as that was the only year we had in the UK (correct me if I,m wrong ) unless its a private import

If you wanted you could switch to a 1984 or 1985 200X rear swingarm.

Here is a pic my 1985 200X rear swingarm.

I take it from that the '83 arm is different (Obviously not as good!!)
