The best way to adjust the fuel mixture is (while running) is turn the pilot screw clockwise until you hear the engine miss or idle down. then turn it counterclockwise until the rpm's incrense. Then readjust it back center) between the two points.
Well that's what the owner manual says anyways. I think its two full turns from the fully closed position.
