    350x Chain

The dude who owned my 85 350x before me put a non-o-ring chain on it. The sprockets and chain are new to this point......should I go get an o-ring chain or will the non-o work for now? I know that a good chain prevents a good case cracking!

    Thanks.

Just run what you have. If it's good there's no need to replace it. I run O-ring because they last longer for me but I wouldn't get rid of a good new chain just to have an O-ring one. O-ring chans actually cause more drag. :-D

exactly, get a case saver there all over Ebay and Rocky mtn has them too-the O ring chain in my opinion need much more servicing then non o ring chains so you may want to keep that in mind when purchasing in the future.
