XR 200 motor swap into 200X

I know there has been other threads just like this one... BUT.

    Will a 1990 XR 200 bolt into a 200X?

    Does the '90 XR200 motor have a 5 or a 6 speed transmission ?

If it has a 6 speed will it fit into a 200X case? I know the '83-'84 have 6 speeds and will interchange, I don't know anything about the '90 xr motor.

From what I've read in the past here and even asked questions about...all the XR 200 motors are six speeds and will bolt right into a 200x frame because they are pretty much exactly the same. The problem comes from the kickstarter kicking rearward as opposed to the 200x's forward kicker. You could just take your fenders off to start it every time or you could swap the entire kickstarter assembly from the X into the bottom end of the XR and use the right side case cover from the X on the XR motor. You would actually need to do that anyway because the rear brake is connected to the right side case cover on the X. Easiest thing to do would be to use any parts you need out of the XR motor and put them in the X motor like the 6 speed tranny for instance. Do a search, there is tons of stuff on here about this.
