Banshee axles will fit in the Z's. However there is no width gain unless you go to an extended one. I'm currently running a YFZ450 axle in mine with the YFZ sprocket hub and modded Z brake hub. Stock Z wheels flipped inside out (offset). If your not jumping it any the easiest thing would be a pair of wheel spacers (4/130 if you have the stock hubs, same as a yamaha blaster) or 4/115 if you have banshee hubs.

The old school choice would be Turf Tamers 18x11-8 or the triangle pattern Hoosiers. Turf Tamers worked pretty good for most rideing.

The stock bolt pattern is 4/100. I should have a new rear end setup very soon so when I have them I will post up Its involving douglass wheels and turf tamer tires.

My Z came with stock YFZ450 wheels/hubs/tires. Good traction, flat profile but still 21 inches tall for good clearance in the trails.

What do you guys recommend for the dunes? I'm lookin at 10 inch douglas rims w/ Skat Trak "edge" tires. Or should I look into a different wheel size?
