    Cool tire question

Im going to get some new tires on my suzuki alt185. I was wondering, do i use the same tread all around or a different 1 in the front for better grip? Any tire reccomendations? Thanks

Well for an ALT185 I would say any balloon type tire 22" or over. With an alt185 I dont see you needing a racier tire because its a smaller trike. But If you want good traction in mud and snow go for a 22x11x8 gator or something along the line of that.

not sure what size yours are...

But the 22x11x8 Fox tire Huffa is running on the front of his SX works very well. (the one on the right in the pic) I think they are nicely priced too!

For that machine, I would recommend something like a Cheng Shin Knobbie (22X11X8) they are good priced and made for the machine. Something with lots of side wall give to compensate for no rear suspension. If you run a flat profile tire (like a race tire) your ride will suffer greatly. Go with something balloon like, and don't over inflate - only run about 2 or 3 lbs pressure in it. Square profile tires look really cool, but don't ride well with no suspension.

As for Carlisle tires - were you looking at Walmart?????? I personally would stay away from those heavy tires - no good in snow or mud either - just because they look like they will get real good traction does not always mean they will.
