    86 tecate cylinder removal

OK with the powervalve assembly in the 86 Tecate. Is there anything past the 4 base bolts and the left hand threaded actuator lever that needs to be removed?

This is to get the cylinder off.

The actuator moves back and forth correctly from what i see. Just want to make sure there is nothing hidden in the jug there before i tap with a rubber mallet to remove.

    Thanks in advance.

From memory... I think you have got it all off.

Once you pull it up though there is a little lever joint that can be dropped if your not careful

Assuming that you already drained the radiators and pulled the head don't forget to drain the coolant from the cylinder itself by removing the drain bolt on the side of the cylinder.
