Which parts to have on hand?

In regards to an '83 ATC185S, what parts should I have on hand? CDI? Carb kit? What parts tend to go bad? Thanks...

Nothing ever goes bad since it's a HONDA! But on a serious note....The only thing that I've needed to change is the pull start rope. Good little machines

make sure you have a spare plug, and a spark plug wrench, a small cressent wrench will never hurt either. If youre pull rope is in bad shape make sure you have a spare. Have some screwdrivers, maybe 2 sizes of phillips and 2 sizes of flathead. And that should work for anything you run into.

Great suggestions! But I was actually asking what parts I should have on hand at home. Is there some part or electronic component that tends to go South on the 185S?

ssmyers33, I know what you mean about Hondas. They start right up even after sitting for months and are pretty much bulletproof.

    Thanks guys...

Now that's a thought. Would you know what the chain size is? I looked at a couple of OEM parts sites but could not locate the flywheel key. Any suggestions?
