I'm abandoning my 225 DX project after I bought the new 07 Raptor 700 SE today.....trike is going in the shed for quite some time now, the new Quad has taken it's place,
I haven't take a pic of it yet since I've been out ridin till dark today, but it's this one.

0 down, financed it straight w/ extra 4yr warranty and Yamaha Payment Insurance. $207.00 a month for 4 yrs....intrest got me good, but hey, moneys no biggy. I'll get some pics up tomorrow when I wake up. Kinda dirty...had to break her in just right today, LOL.
Dude....I applied online for it yesterday, they call me up today and say "Mr. Holder....how would u like to ride a Raptor 700 today ?" I say sure....he said "Get over here now, it's waititng". I went there, they loaded it, i signed......took 20 minutes and I was out the door, nothin down, full tank of gas, hellz yea.

Wow man 200$ a month, thats like the price of a trike per month!!! 200$ a month x 12 (months) x 4 (years)= 48 trikes by the end of the 4 years!!!
Lol i wish I had that many, let alone the money to pay for them!!!!

I broken her in for about 8hours today, took the pipe baffle out. It's already got piggy back tuned shocks, adjustable.....i definately gotta soften the front up, too stiff now. But maybe a pipe later on, nerf bars for sure, and a GYTR air filter and billet adapter for sure. this thing is bad ass stock, so not much more to do but pipe and intake and jet it. Oh.....and razor tires when these go down, LOL. Maybe an alarm too, don't want it gettin messed w/ in the back of my truck.

dude, you paid right under 10k for a quad that sits way too high! Better put a roll bar on that thing or you can kiss it good bye~ i would rather the yfz450. that 450 will beat that rapter until top of fourth gear. but who races straight aways anyhow! man i sure could have spent 10k on something else. I do like the quad tho. But still ,,, eeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhh

Congratulation on your new raptor! Ive got a blue 06...I love mine! big improvment from the 660...I think its the best sport machine available. Dont let these clowns burst your bubble over the price....With proper maintainence. that yammy should serve you well for a long time! Maybe you wanna edit the part about a jet kit...since youre machines injected....Happy trails!

I thought about the new raptor, theres a loop hole here in georgia where you can make a quad street legul on all state rds except the interstate, and it get liscensced as a motorcycle, thought about the raptor and doing that, takes another 1500 in stuff though, but it would be cool riding around doing insurance apraisals on a raptor, lol, how much is you overall price of that? really if I had the choice I would have gotten the banshee, but nice any ways!
