    tired and need advice

    i'm tired of this 44mm alky carb. i can get it tuned for nothing. will a fuel pump hurt a gas carb?

    The needle and seat in the carb might not be able to seal properly with a fuel pump pushing fuel in all the time. You can try it, I guess the worst that can happen is gas will pour out the overflow line while its running.

    I don't know much about running alcohol but I could swear I read something about fuel pumps more or less being required to run it effectively.

    i have a fuel pump on it but it seems to run out of fuel on the top end. i just reset the float level.
