250R guys, front brake disc direction?

According to this page attached, the disc goes with the arrow in so it would be rotating the right direction...however the disc on my R is pointed to where it would be on the ouside of the hub instead of pointing towards the inside of it, the opposite of the manual. So do I have the wrong disc or is the book just wrong?

I think the disk on your R might be whats wrong. From what I remember, that arrow goes on the inside twords the hub.

Billy, on the 86 I just bought the 'drive' stamping is on the outside of the disk, facing the left side of the bike. I highly doubt its ever been apart....

I checked my other R, the 86, and its the same as the "85" flat tracker. I guess the book is just wrong.

Well I think the dragging I'm having is caused by some missing parts on the floating caliper mount...I'll have to inspect more throroughly tomorrow I guess.
