I have a 1984 Honda 200x. It has been sitting in the garage for over a year. I went ahead and changed the oil, air filter, spark plug, cleaned the carburetor, and cleaned the gas tank out. It wouldn't start for nothing, so I went ahead and push started it. It started up, but was set at one certain speed. Do I need to replace the twist throttle? I twist and nothing it continues to stay at the speed. Another thing, when I started to hit on the brakes to get it ready to stop it would start idling real loud. I went ahead and tried to kick start after all of that and nada. I checked the choke and it was good. The gas switch was on. Don't think I left any step out. Any help is appreciated.
