    '85 250r Firing Help!!

    been piecing this trike back together for about a year now........
    got stator, wiring harness, swinger, and alot of other parts off the boards(3ww and .org)
    and e-bay.
    got the wiring hooked up and kicked it over....NO SPARK!!
    somebody please tell me how to check stator, pulse gen.,and CDI
    ohmeter can be had to check these items.
    other than the 3 already mentioned, what else controls the firing???
    84 250R (sold)
    85 250R 38mm Keihin PJ,Rad valve(w/spacer),
    CR250 head gasket,all DG exhaust ,
    13/37 gearing w/ 22-11x9 wooly booger type treads,
    head re-chambering and +6 swinger by Ronnie,
    stock jug and bottom end,
    112 octane race gas w/ klotz R50 @ 32:1

    check the ground on the frame. Make sure to take some sandpaper and sand off the frame so there is nice, bare steel showing.
