    200x wiseco issues.... Pics added

I overhauled a buddys 200x. I went with a wiseco .20 over 11:1 piston. Well I got it back together started it up and went out to test ride it. Well I kept hearing what I thought was the valves. Something just wasnt sounding right so I took the motor back out and took the head and cylinder off. I was looking at the cylinder, which looked fine, then inspected the piston and noticed the around the intake it looks like the piston is hitting the head. Not like ing it but deffinately hitting it. What are my options at this point all? Thanks in advance.

I've heard of a few wiseco's being that way lately.... find a machine shop to relief cut the piston.

Is the piston pointing the right way? I think the arrow is suposed to point forward.

Why are you correcting wisecos machining errors, how about calling them and letting them fix it then at least they know they have a problem and dont keep shipping their problems out to customers.

Why would the head be cut down?

My concern now would be how much the rod bearings were ed and how long they will last, how much were the head bolts stretched as it tried to lift the head off the cylinder you can see where the head gasket was leaking....

same thing happened to me, I used an 86-87 piston in my 84 though, but it appeared as if it were going to work.... I have the whole engine torn down and have for like a year.. I am going to try that piston again.. eventually.

I dont know but it looks like it has been, theres virtually no lip between the sealing surface and the Gasket area,

mabe the head was milled down??
have the piston milled a little
    -check the timing
use a dremel remove some material
    -did it bend the valves?
