    200s stud question

    i was out searing my engine down because it was leaking. i took the stud nuts off got it all apart and i saw another hole where a stud might go. i was wonder if i am supposed to have 5 studs or 4 studs. if i am supposed to have 5 does anyone have an extra one around? any help would be great
    down to parts because i no longer have a place to ride trikes.

    Are you talking about the valve cover?

    4 studs in the valve cover and 4 short 6mm socket bolts, and there is an extra stud below the pulse generator on the cylinder outside of the timing chain valley.

    Keep up with the dowel pins and EXACTLY where they came from, so you can put them in the exact spot when you reassemble! That was the only problem I ran in to when I rebuilt a 200S. Get you an egg carton and label stuff in a manner that you can put it back EXACTLY where they were. It will make it ALOT easier on ya.
