Talking Phase 5 Pipe found for the SX! (pics and a Vid)

Went and looked at a SX today. Basically stock with crappy plastics all around, dented tank, no air box (has screen over it ), twist grip, key does NOT shut off engine when turned off, 18" rear tires, BUT the whole engine has been gone through and PHASE 5 PIPE. $450 and as long as I am there by friday its mine.

I have never before seen or heard of a Phase 5 for an SX, only the 200x which was on phreakfix's.

No Idea. Phase 5 might be the company, like Cobra megaphones are made by Cobra.

keep in mind there is no air box so it would have to clamp or fit onto the carb itself

Just measure the carb and go to the local dealership and ask them if they have any k&n clamp on filters about that size. might be $30 but why not?

Take a piece of shirt or something and put it over the whole, stretched across it, and clamp it. My dad used something like that(only with a shop rag) for his /85 vulcan 750, and never had a problem.
